Woodcroft is bounded by 111th and 118th Avenues, 142nd Street, and Groat Road. Over half of its land is non-residential. Residential areas, mostly north of 113th Avenue, feature homes built in the 1950s, with ongoing redevelopment. Single-detached homes make up over three-quarters of residential structures, while a multi-family development is near Coronation Park.
Westmount Shopping Centre, Edmonton’s first indoor mall, was built in 1955. The neighbourhood also houses Coronation Park, the Telus World of Science, an ice arena, a swimming pool, a library, and multiple schools. Woodcroft’s name, in use since 1907, reflects its wooded origins.
